Default Baby Goes On A Diet !

38 lbs and counting... 2 front OEM seats -42 lbs / New Sparco Pro 2000 +12 lbs / Gutted rear end -8 lbs

Don't try this at home... The gas tank safety plate was 5 lbs...

I'm thinking 200 lbs. of stuff will come out and then 100 lbs. of stuff will go in... Roll cage, fire system, fuel cell, etc.

God I hate tearing this car apart, it was so nice on the inside... Now it's going to be a hollow shell... Don't worry, I'll have all the bare metal sand blasted and painted nice and pretty LOL

Alright, looks like I can't upload photos to my posts anymore... pictures will be in my gallery... Hey Andrew what's-up with that ?

The gas tank safety plate is titanium, if i remember right... is she gonna rattle around without it? The 5 lbs might be worth a little safety.

It's going to be replaced by the mandatory safety fuel cell. And yes, it's getting completely gutted and going Full Race by this summer. That means everything that doesn't make the car move gets stripped out. Then all the bare metal gets sand blasted and painted along with the new roll cage. I'll keep the upper portion of the dash with the gauge pod and build a center plate for start button, cut-out, extinguisher activation, etc.

Incase you're wondering, it's going to be a track car only...
