Default Hi Performance XFire??

Ref: the alleged Hi performance Crossfire.....sounds cool but the talk here is of close to $50k (to compete with Corvette) and an acceleration time 0-60 in the mid fives. But the current 3.2 litre engine already does mid sixes!!! (according to auto media test drives). I need a cool sports-tourer - not a dragster - that's why I bought my Crossfire now. ALso, with limited build numbers quoted by Chrysler, resale should be strong.

Thanks for your feedback on the "hole" in the trunk and the potential pricing and market on the High Output 2004 or 2005 Crossfire.

OK - I know this is an old topic... I contacted my dealer since I didn't get the tool either. Question is, is there a fuse puller in that tool too or is that a separate tool that I don't have either?

Judy, that hole in the trunk is handy for lots of different things. I keep a tire pressure guage, extra fuses, a rag, a couple of extra cans of flat tire goop, a piano and some work gloves in there, all judiciously packed. I keep the "tool" over with the jack. I figure if I have a lot of flat tire goop in there, I'll never have one

the black metal tool is used to release the shifter if it happens to get stuck in gear. if you look at the lower area of the shift gate you will notice a small opening where the tool slides into to release binding.

Default Mercedes Tool Kit On-Board???

Hi guys,
You can check out my older post on this subject....In that extra hole in the truck on my xfire was a factory mercedes benz tool kit in a blue roll pouch! As far as I know nobody else has found a kit like this in their car......if so let me know!!! Nice set of tools. all clearly marked MB! Maybe the assembly line guys had a extra set to give away!!!

Hey, I've just been scanning through my boot and I have got this special tool. It is in the boot attached via masking tape! I also have Mopar wheel locking nuts, I didn't ask / order these, they are just sitting there in a box in my boot. See pic:

The uses for the tool are outlined in the manual.

Lucky for you getting the locking lug nuts. Are you sure they aren't listed on your 'window sticker' as an included option? They are a $58 optional accessory over here.
