Can someone forward me Corky's contact info? I'm not back so to speak, but I got the rotrex running perfectly before a death in the family changed everything. Seeing this pop back up makes me want to see what I can do to help. I found the "secret sauce" so I might as well share it and see if it nudges corky in the right direction.

Asked if he had 100 miles on her yet.

Not quite enough yet, but clearly working well. I intend (?) to drive it on a 60 mile errand tomorrow. Cross whatever is available.
The cold start is not working quite right. It take about 10 seconds from light off to idle okay. That may take a bit more of a Mercedes guy than me to find.
We started cleaning it up last week. We will need to do a nut/bolt/clamp/ session also. If all goes well on the 60 miles, I'll feel okay with it.
If I don't send a message tomorrow evening, don't be concerned. Overly busy, plus feeling low with a muscle strain.
I did get a note from Bill B. Sounds like a nice gentleman and I'm looking forward to talking with him.

Update, again.

She continues to run well. About 150 now. *The CEL is on and I'll check it out, but there's no affect on the driving quality.
With that, I will get a few details fixed ( about one hour's worth), check all fassteners *and clean it up.
I'll find a carrier before the week is out and let you know what the schedule looks like.
Not yet time for a party, but it may be close.

I truly hope this will be the end of a long bloody battle, concluded. Time will tell if it is the beginning of the end (of) the war fought for the ability of our N/A's having more bite added to its fantastic looks and handling! 
I would support the process of a committee to look into the creation (and award) of the Congressional Medal Of Crossfire Owners, to tighed1, for the long fought battle that left him bloodied and scarred. He epitomizes the resilience we die-hard owners expound to for our love of this awesome machine.
