Default Dyno Day for Central Texas Crossfires?

Just spoke with a performance shop in North San Antonio.
http://www.psiperformance.net/contact.asp

Usual price for 2 ea. Dyno runs with Wideband o2 Air/Fuel ratio logging is $60 per person.

If we can get 4 or more cars interested, we'll save $20 per car, making it $40 per person.

If we get more than 4, the price may go down...it's a bit negotiable.

So, who is interested?

I just ordered the K&N Filters, and I'm thinking quite seriously about pulleys on the SRT. I want to get a baseline dyno to see where I stand prior to touching anything. I'll possibly wait until I get over that magical 2,400 mile mark when the engine supposedly 'wakes up'...but we'll see.

For anyone who has any mods, or any interest in future mods, it is a good chance to get a baseline.

For anyone else who has a curiosity about their 'to the wheels' torque and horsepower, bring it!

Myself and Henry Willis are game -we need two more. This would be done on a weekend to accommodate most folks. I would even consider a shop in Austin area if it is cheaper, or in between here and Austin.

Let me know,
Shawn

Shawn,

I am going to have to pass on this one. I have no plans for future mods and am pretty happy with the car's stock performance.

I'm pretty happy with it too!

I'd just like to know what it has...

As far as future mods, other than filters...I may never do anything. The Renntech and ASP pulley upgrades sound fun, but they are pricey! Not to mention the warranty factor. I'd hate to be voided and have to front the bill on an expensive repair.

But, either way, I want a baseline dyno #.

Thanks for the reply either way! And, I guess whatever I run, you could assume about the same? So, you'll essentially get yours for 'free' when I run mine.

Another shop in Bracken, TX (near Schertz) has offered 3 runs per person with A/F readings, Printouts, and cool-down time in between, for $40/person.

So, basically the same thing...but about 15 miles closer to Austin, and one extra run.

This would be a saturday deal...anyone??

Default Dyno Results

Run # 1 - WITH SL55 Y-Pipe (004.drf)
274.45hp / 284.13tq

Run # 2 - WITH SL55 Y-Pipe (005.drf)
273.47hp / 282.60tq

Run # 3 - W/OUT SL55 Y-Pipe, stock (007.drf)
283.29hp / 289.30tq

Run # 4 - W/OUT SL55 Y-Pipe, stock (008.drf)
280.77hp / 283.83tq
-All runs were on a Dynojet dyno, 80* air temp / 95% humidity.
-All runs were done in 4th gear
-Fuse #17 & #18 were removed for dynoing
-Car would hit a 'rev-limiter' at 5600 rpm. The guy said there is probably another 10hp if it would hit redline or closer.
-The graph looks 'odd' because you couldn't MASH the throttle without it kicking down to 3rd gear.
