CTC Guys - brake installation...
Hey guys,
Just did the front and rear Rotex brake pad installation on the SRT. It takes me about 30 mins/side for front and rear.
The front is 2 bolt covers that snap on, 2 bolts (torx size 40 on SRT, Allen head on Non-SRT), one retaining clip, and a little bit of prying to slide the caliper off. You may need to compress the piston(s) on the caliper to get the new pads on depending on how many miles and how worn your existing pads are.
The rear is two sliding pins held in by tension - you don't even have to remove the caliper.
Pretty simple job - if anyone decides to do it, let me know if you'd like some help.
Will reply later about break dust - I know Roy seems to like his!
