Mark and I had a great time yesterday.
It seems like that small chance of rain increased to 100% as soon as I put the top down! It started to sprinkle on our way home but the weather took a really bad turn as soon as we got home. I'm glad we all got to enjoy the beautiful weather yesterday while it lasted. =)

Overnight at Big Bend?

I think the GTG's should be local and about the duration of yesterday....more folks will show up.

Oh, I did find a DQ in Startzville...Paige was right, there's one around every corner in the area (smile)

 

Talking about west of San Antonio and a little north, Kerrville area maybe. A successful GTG is the journey not the destination.
Sometimes we've have great turnouts and sometimes we don't. The distance and duration had no affect. It comes down to availability and priority. The only overnight that involved CTC members was when several of us went up to the Texas Motor Speedway Laps for Charity over the weekend in September 2009. There was John and Ron who took 2 Crossfires each, Paige, Hal, Eric, and I. Total of 45 Crossfires from TX., OK., FL., MO., IN., That was fun, I'm looking forward in doing that again, don't really care about doing the laps, just socializing with Crossfire owners from all over.

 

Anybody going to Busbees Friday? If weather not bad I think I will be in San Antonio .

Where and when are you going to be in San Antonio, you spending the night?

 

Eileen going to Cedar Creek (near Bastrop) to visit daughter for a few days. Gives me tie to get to SA to do some CICCI business with ANCIRA, then go to Ft Sam shop, if time permits go to Randolph to the dungeon an do some research, then Busbees for a while. Need to go home and feed dogs. Eileen coming home Sat.
