Default Tires

I have Falken tires on my car now. Are these stock tires? I'm going to need new ones soon, does anyone see anything wrong with purchasing these again? Or should I try others?

Thanks!

The only 2 types of tires I have personally seen stock on these cars are Michelin Pilots or Continentals

I've heard good things about the Falken's, but I can't say first hand - I have Nitto Invo's and love them. There is a lot of information about tires in this thread:

There is a ton of information regarding tire selection in the Wheels, Brakes, Tires and Suspension forum. I would sum it up this way:

Many have chosen Hancook tires for price, durability and handling charactistics. I recently replaced my rear tires with Hancook and am very satisfied. I got the price from Tirerack.com (including shipping) and gave it to Discount tire and they matched it.

Discount tire has a very interesting website. There you can list your tire size and they will provide information on each tire that they carry including price and owner feedback/ratings.

However, do your own research- after all it IS your money.

Good luck,

Falken's are not stock....
The Hankook's have proven to be really good for the money but these below are summer tires:

I just had Discount Tire install the Falkner 452's. So far, I love them and they were the lowest price option I could find (about $725 out the door).

The traction might not be quite as good as the Conti's as I can get a 3rd gear chirp when I never could before.
