Houston guys, need some feedback on the date you would want to have a GTG. Under consideration is the 12 or 19th of March. Looking at drive around part of Lake Conroe, then dinner and a great sunset. I'm going to try and send a PM or e-mail to everyone, but have had some health issues of late. Will try and get caught up .

Looks like the 19th of March is going to be it for the LAKE CONROE cruse and Sunset Dinner. I'm still having some med problems, but hope to get some info out during the next week to all Houston /East Tx Area members. Anyone interested or not please contact so I can build a better data base.

All the honkin babes I know are in Minnesota. Might have to bring one of em down. I don't mind the texas twang so much but living with one would drive me nuts.

 

Get on one of the local internet dating services and put down that you want one from Minn. or Wisc., or?? They are here and you can get one too.

It's March the 4th, only 15days until the Lake Conroe Cruse around the lake and Sunset Dinner. I'm still having some med problems, but Carmen and I will be there so sure. Please let me know if you can come and if you will have a "DATE" with you. Need a good head count.
Glen ( Marine05), call or PM me, need to discuss what and how to execute our plan. I think you already have my cell if you would rather go that route. Hey, I'm looking forward to this. Do you have any ideas on getting others to come?

 

Here I am guys. The wedding is over and I am ready to roll. How about we make it on the 19th. We can meet up in either Old Town Spring for a late lunch or the Market Street in The Woodlands. After lunch we can then drive up to Lake Conroe and stop by the lakeside bar at Grampy Larry's, have a few drinks, watch the sunset and hed on back to Spring to the Kroger parking lot on Spring Cypress and Champion Forest Drive. I believe the Nifty Fifties Car Show will be back by then where there is normally 200+ rods and 1978 and earlier cars on display. We can do all or any combination of the above. Let me know what you think and we will start a list of those who will be attending.

 

Well, looks like my first get together with the club wont be happening. I had my request in for the 19th off but got bounced when a guy with 20 years put in his vacation request over the same day. I was really hoping to meet the group and go on a nice drive, but I will try again on the next go. Are there any car shows you all attend during the summer as a group?

 

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to come on the 19th. The next GTG we have planned is in May at the " Running of the Crossfires" at the speedway. If you find something you think would be fun, let us know and we see if we can do it.

We have selected the 19th as our Lake Conroe cruse around and a sunset dinner. Why don't we map out what time to meet at "Old Town Spring". Then a drive around part of the Lake, then dinner just before sunset. The car show and Grampy Larry's sound very entertaining. We already started a list of attendees( look back on 3/1/2011 Permalink#24). If you think it is better to start a new one that's ok too.

 

There is a bar in Old Town Spring at the end of the main drag near the RR Tracks. Don't recall the name, but I can drive past in the next few days and get the name and address. How about we meet there around 4PM, have a drink or two and head on out for Lake Conroe. Sunset should be around 7:32 PM. Here is the list again. Let's keep bringing it forward so people can add their names.

Sounds good. I hate to make the list shorter but I'm down as #2 & 3. Unless I get a clone in the next 2 weeks that comes with a crossfire there will be only one of me at the gtg.
