This GTG is set for July 23rd 2011 at 11:00 AM,

Detail Schedule:

11:00- Anyone attending will meet at "The Shops @ La Cantera" we are going to meet infront of the Yardhouse Bar/Grill in the new drive through part of the mall. **Directions Link At Bottom**

11:00-12:30: We will chat get to know everyone maybe do some shopping ha ha etc.

12:30-1:30- At about 12:30 we will form a train from la cantera with myself leading to the reserved location in Bandera, TX **Map Link Below**

1:30- Once we arrive at said location I will begin to start the BBQ, feel free to swim or fish if you bring said equip., I will provide all food and non-alcoholic drinks, **Soda, Tea, Water etc**, feel free to bring something else to throw on the BBQ or anything you may want. Also due to the recent drought I am not sure as to the level of the river at this location.

1:30-????: I am not to sure as when this event might end so I guess we can let it end when everyone decides to call it a day

I may have overlooked something here... but what is at the end of the line where the BBQ is going to be?

 

If your coming up 16 from helotes and you take a right on main and keep going about 5-8 miles there is a bridge and to the right of the bridge is a paved picnic area with bbq's and river access its right next to 2 big pieces of farm land, idk what the road it branches off of is i just know how to get there.

Sign me up as a probably. I may be taking in part of the CAA II but I'm going to a concert on July 25 so I will not be heading to Colorado until 26 July. We may bring 1-3 cars depending on the weather and work.

 

Sorry I'm late chimin in, I just got back in the country from a trip. Put me on the maybe list, I will be out of state and will return home the 22nd or 23rd.

 

I will not attend. I suggest others stay away until he removes the police equipment from his car. He is not a cop and you don't want to be anywhere near his car if he gets pulled over. San Antonio does not take this lightly. Impersonating an officer is a serious offense. Read the thread. Not saying Kris is a bad guy. Just using bad judgement.

Let me say this..... I think Kris is a good guy. This is my message to him...

"I think you are young and don't really understand what you are doing or realize it is a bad mistake to install that type of system in your car. I think you can still pull off a meeting. I thank you for putting one together! I really think you are a good guy and wouldn't mind hanging out with you at the meeting. I just don't want to get wrapped up in this police equipment deal and I prefer you not have it installed while you are around me. I have way too much to lose in life over something like this.

So I am not trying to be mean or a jerk to you. I really believe you are a good guy. I think it is great that you want to be a cop. I strongly suggest that if you ever want to be a cop.... you will never get on the force if you are busted for having this equipment in your car. So if you are truly passionate about your dreams I strongly suggest you play by the rules. If you break the rules once they will never let you on the force."

the event is to continue as planned it is a time of gathering and getting to know each other others have their opinion so if you want a day of BBQ and relaxation join us if not well then that's your decision i am using my own money and time for this event to make sure its perfect, i apologize for the grammar as i am typing on a three inch phone keyboard
