if someone wants to suggest a mid-point, we could get our maps out and see if it works. I'm in Irving, I'll travel wherever for the first meeting. So just post here and we'll figure out a day, time, and place that'll work for us to start this thing up. Look forward to hearing your suggestions.

I'm IN! I used to participate in Miata club cruises around Austin and had a ball. Consider me and my 6-speed Roadster (Sapphire Blue Metallic) there.

Having roamed Texas VERY extensively, I suggest the hill country SW of Austin, or the Possum Kingdom area near Ft Worth.

Any of you Austin XF's, do you know about the HOT RODS on Saturday night at the Oak Hill Y? Every Saturday night from about 7:00 pm to 8:30-9:00 some great cars meet at albertsons at the Y. I go out often to look and drool at the great rods and believe it or not on more than one occasion people have been over looking at my XF! Anyway maybe we can at least hook up there.

Do you have an address so that we would know how to get there?

Cyril,
It's at the 290 - 71 split in Oak Hill, take Mopac south to Oak Hill and It is on the southwest corner by Jims restaurant. If you need more PM me and I will give you a number to reach me.

I just joined today and have learned a lot of good information already. I live in Long Beach, Mississippi and hope I can learn a lot more about the car and some day be able to contribute something to the posts and help someone else.

Any updates on a Texas club? I am in Dallas, new owner (2 days), but would go for Fredericksburg - its a great drive down the back roads past Ft Hood, and great beer when you get there!

I am in Austin and run to Fredericksburg often, it's a great place to go. The beer is great and we could do the winery tasting runs, there are seven or eight wineries there.
