I live in the UCF area of Orlando and I bought a '05 Alabaster White Coupe... So far I love it!

 

I talked to my captain and he said that the water is pretty deep over next to the lot, so sometime this weekend. As for the 05' 07' joke. I know that some are 05's, just for the fact that the lot never got empty since the beginning of the year when I started here. And today I noticed that the lot has almost doubled in size. I looked to see if they add other cars to the lot, but there is now what looks to be close to 200 in there now and they are still all Crossfires.

 

This was the closes that my tugboat could get to the lot. There is nothing but Crossfires in the lot. One day when I have off, I will see if I can drive up closer, but I really don't think that I will be able to. I have heard that they are driven over one by one. Its about a 5 miles drive to the lot from where the car carriers dock.

 

Looks like soldiers all lined up getting ready to do battle.

 

Not to hijack this thread, but are any of you going to register for the Full Throttle event in Orlando on Nov 18/19??? I signed up for Saturday afternoon.

I just signed up for Sunday morning. I could make it out there Sat afternoon but not till about 3 or so.

i signed up for the 19th from 1 - 5 pm...i think i can make it from tally to there in time if i leave at 9 am or so.

 

I just signed up for Saturday morning 9 - 11. If it's half as good as the SRT Experience it will be awesome.

Does anyone know if they will send a reply with something that says we are preregistered? I just checked my email and nothing from them so far. Maybe just show ID when we arrive?

Can you believe that they are offering 4 time slots over two days and all 4 of us have a different time picked.

 

John, I think you just show up. It is funny that we all have different times.

I'm still hoping that I will be able to make it on the 11th if I can unobligate myself somehow. I will let you know as soon as I can. I also invited blacklimitedcoupe to join in. He and I are doing the Full Throttle thing at the same time, as well as a friend of mine who just bought a Charger SRT.

 

I was just wondering what was going on for this weekend. The 11th is approaching quickly and we still don't have but two of us confirmed to go to the Orl Speedway this Saturday. I'm very interested in going, but we really should have more than two of us to go out there. I don't think we should go with less than 4. Otherwise we will have to can this weekend and then plan for March when they open the season back up again.

I went this past Friday, the 3rd, to the drag strip and ran a couple of times. It was the first time I've ever drag raced before, but I had a great time. My son and I went and they even let him ride down the track with me. I met with two other SRT-6's that night. This is something else that we all need to get together and do some day.

Maybe we can come up with something else between now and March to create a GTG.

Kevin, I was just going to send you the same message. I like Dan's suggestion, maybe we can come up with another idea for a gtg before March. I know it will be tougher to get everyone together during the holidays, but maybe the first of the year.
