I just updated the Owners' List. Had left a couple of folks off inadvertently. We're up to 20+ cars!

Started messing around this morning with concept for a logo for our Owners' group, since we're becoming somewhat large. Take a look at examples below.

I passed an SSB coupe on I-40 just before 1pm today.
It was heading east at about the 48 or 49 mile marker.

Was it any of you?

Roberta & I took our 07 Limited Coupe out this morning for a drive. We drove up to Flat Rock, NC and spent some time in that area before coming home around noon. Really a pretty day for driving the XFire. Temp in the mid 70's.

Dennis, the group is growing quickly! Welcome to all the new members. With the Dragon coming up, we should have the next event soon. Maybe a fish camp or bbq place that would be a reasonable drive for the Greenville and Spartanburg members and not too far for any others.I am sure any place would do. If anyone has an idea let us know. Btw, the logo's are cool. I like the red heading, it draws my eye.

I found another 13-14 XFire owners in the NC/SC/GA states that are not currently listed in our group. I used the daily member photo thread started by VALKRYDERGUY to locate these owners. I've sent private messages to them to see if they're interested in joining our regional group. Hopefully, watch for new members joining this week.

Got our 07 Crossfire Coup listed in the daily member photo thread yesterday. Feel like a celebrity!

Wink Re: Crossfires in Carolinas & Georgia

Looks like there are 8-9 from our Carolina/Georgia region listed as attending the Dragon met in April. So we should be well represented. I've been watching your dialogue on forming a convoy to the Dragon event. Roberta & I would love to join you but we'll arrive early evening on Friday as we won't leave until Roberta gets off work at 4 PM.

I'm sure I have your cell number since I've kept all the PM's I got from folks that forwarded them to me. For those of us attending the Dragon event in April, we can discuss putting a list together with names, phone numbers, addresses, emails, whatever. You could take the lead to do this and then send it out via email to all that belong to our owners group. Becomes a nice reference for getting in touch with folks.

Dragon Trip Sign Up - 4/3/09 - 03-06-2009 , 03:58 PM

Please post here, or send me a PM, if you are traveling to the Spring Tail of the Dragon Run and would like to hook up for the trip up. Not only is the trip a lot more fun in a group but there is safety in numbers, especially for us long distance travelers. We will be leaving on Friday morning, April 3, with some returning on Sunday and some of us staying until Monday. We will be traveling up I-95N from the south, to I-26W, to I-40W, to US-74, to NC-28 into the Lodge. Just let me know where you want to join us along the way. Departure/meet up times will have to be worked out at a later date when we know who all be going. The plan is to arrive at the Lodge bewteen 3 & 4 PM to allow time to check in and car clean-up (for those that desire) before dinner and lounge time. Obviously, those of us further south will be leaving much earlier than others along the way.

danimal - leaving from Exit 373 on I-95N in FL (by 6 AM to meet the arrival timetable)
bluecoupe
KimPossible
JAmacher
onelove - meeting at Rest Area (mile marker 152) on I-26W in SC
Rv Xfire 08 - meeting at Exit 28 on I-26W in SC
Jeff Cobb - meeting at Exit 44 on I-40W in NC

(Those in BOLD are confirmed)

Once the list is finalized, we can exchange cell numbers, and keep in touch that way during the trip as to ETAs, etc.

Joanna, I have been watching your convoy plans with interest. I would love to join the group but I am in limbo. Our daughter and son in law are expecting their first child and our first grandchild on March the 28th. I am on the Dragon list but have not made reservations yet. We know it will be a boy and he alrady has his name. So Jackson Lee Cannon, if you are listening hurry up and get out of there healthy and happy so I can meet you and go play with my friends at the Dragon. Hope to see everyone there if only for the day on Saturday.
