Ok Florida Xfire owners...it's time to set up a meet...

If anyone out there has any ideas lets get something going!

 

I live in Jacksonville 04 coupe, I interested in a Florida meet. Please keep me informed.

 

Let's do it. I think a lunch meet would be great. I went to one in Chicago that was awesome! I love the idea o doing a drive but where do we start & where do we go to. Makes it tough for the N.FL people if we start in Orlando & go to Miami (for example). Everyone ends up with such a long drive back that people will just bail & we end up where we are now - no where. I also think something like a poker run could be fun. My mom used to do road rallies with her Corvette club back in the day & those were a blast. Just ideas ....

 

I live in North Central Florida,outside of Gainesville. I think it would be great to have a get together somewhere between Jax and Orlando. I see several n/a Crossfires daily, so there should be a few more members in this area. I now see two other SRT6's in Gainesville also. I'm going to leave them notes telling them about this forum if I see them parked somewhere. Driving all the way to Miami area would be a chore. Plus, I don't speak spanish!

 

Yea, I live in Orlando and would like to meet around here for a few hours since I have no life, work/school...we could get together Tuesday or Thursdays afternoons or nights, sunsets are amazing in this one place I know, just need to find a way to get the cars there...there a lake and everything...just a thought though...

 

Orlando has always been the best place for everyone in the state to meet up because of it's central location for everybody. It's only a 0-3 hour drive for pretty much everyone, unless you live in Naples or the Panhandle.

Plus there's a lot to do in Central Florida. I'm always down for a GTG

 

Sounds great guys! Lets work something out to where we meet up in Orlando if that's good for everyone else. That's not too far from G-ville...Lets pick a date and location!

A meet centrally located in Florida would be great! I met a few fine folks down in Davie, FL during the dyno day in January. So anywhere in the middle of the state would make it easier for folks to travel from the north and south. Any time of the year is good for me.

 

I am here in the Mt. Dora / orlando area. Havent met any xfires except for a guy in texas that I introduced myself to and a guy in apopka driving a yellow roadster.

Would be nice to connect with a few of you all. I have a livelong friend from my motorcycle forum so you really get to meet some neat people at forum gtg's!

 

I think mid May would be awesome, I am gonna go to summer school and work too, but should have afternoon wide open on Wednesdays and Thursdays!!!!

 

Hello KimPossible...I think the second or third Saturday in May would be great. Let's get serious! Please if you want to meet let's make a date and do this!!!! Where would we meet in Orlando and a drive to Tampa? Take pictures, have lunch or dinner. I'm ready.

 

I was thinking mid to late May like the 14th of may, thats a Thursday around 2 p.m., we can meet somewhere on Sandlake, thats a pretty famous road...maybe Sandlake and Turkey lake or even Sandlake and John Young, there are Walmarts near those intersections, than we could go to lunch!!! of taking pics and taking about the Crosses of course, the Logans on the intersection with Sandlake and John Young is pretty decent food for the price.

 

Why would we meet on a Thursday. Most of us work. Unless you want to meet in Miami on a Thursday afternoon./ I can be there.

The second weekend in May sounds great that would be May 9th...I'm off that weekend. A ride starting in Orlando to Tampa sounds good as well. We could even ride down to Ybor and take pics down a brick road, etc...Everyone elses thoughts?

 

I just mentioned Thursday because is the only day I can do it, the others were Monday or Wednesday..."a thousand pardons" if it doesn't convene you...do you have any suggestions???

Many people pull doubles on the weekends too...but if we have a certain day it could easily be requested off. May 9th would be nice or perhaps bump it up to May 2nd???

As I understand as well I'm in Law Enforcement so I know what you mean 12 Hour shifts. But hey if it works out better on May 14 I'm down for the ride that's my birthday so I'm off anyways! Lets decide!
