All I can say is be glad it changed to rain. We got over 20 inches of snow with the possibility of 15 -16 more inches. I'd take the equivalent in rain any day. It's not fun sitting in a cold house (no power) watching the snow pile up so you can't get out of your driveway. If this was Buffalo I could accept it but not in Maryland. Be glad you got rain.

OLE VA is really not used to this, had to replace the skids on my snow blower this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had like 10-12 on my Birthday, about 24 ending Saturday and now 10-20 they advise. Ispent 12 hours sno blowing the driveway 600', and the two garages and it is piled up some deep.

My skid loader needed the snow to be removed before its wheels could get any traction, and that took 4 more hours doing the drive and such. THere is little place for the old snow, my margins are about 4 feet hi..........Some piles are 6-7 feet high. There is roof worries on homes for the snow loading now, several collapses............Yikes Drive the crossfire??????????????glad I have a trickle charger on it in the garage.

Woody this storm looks like its forming farther to the north, even for us. The current radar shows a lot of breaks in central Md right now. I'm just due north of DC. Looks like east of 95 is getting the brunt of it right now. You may get off lucky this one. I'm hoping we do too. Way too much snow for this area. My car has been out of the garage for two weeks now. Last time I filled up was mid December. Man I'm going thru withdrawl!

My flight to New York has been cancelled due to 'Global Warming'. Damn, we not burning enough carbon. Global Warming is the biggest political bull **** I've ever heard of. Maybe I'm just too pissed with the flight situation. As I type this I should have been airbourne over the Atlantic.

We only got a few inches here in mid Mo. but its so dang cold out. Weather dude says its a cold front from Greenland thats nailing us now and as soon as it moves out one will come right behind it from Canada (thanks beaner). Guess Im fortunate that I dont have to shovel and work is only 1 mile from the house...but enough already.

well, the big storm missed us, but dumped 6" and 30 mph winds are back...hope you guys out east are hangin' in there...it doesn't look good. I now know why the Saints won the super bowl....it was always said the Saints would never win the super bowl unless hell froze over...well, Wash. DC has 30" of snow and is closed...that sums it up....sorry, but it's Washington's fault, or the Saints....lol....

My half-hour drive to work today took about 2 hours fifteen minutes. We only got about 8 inches......Crossfire had no problem pushing through though!
