With the CAA/2010 event behind us and the upcoming Carlisle event on the weekend of July 10/11, I figure we could have a simple Meet, Greet & Eat in the Upstate on one of the weekends in the last half of July. I would suggest we pick a spot to gather, either have breakfast and a drive afterwards, or drive before and have a lunch somewhere together. That way we take advantage of the morning weather (which is a little cooler these days) so the roadster folks can enjoy their cars predominant feature. Doesn't have to be anything elaborate, just great cars & owners getting together to 'strut our stuff'.

I'll be glad to put together a poster & list it on this thread. Folks interested should suggest some eateries & routes to consider. Or if the group would like to just gather at an Upstate restaurant like we did for our first GTG last year, that may be a better fit for everyone's schedule.

PS: I've already got an idea for an event in August to drive to a local winery (Victoria Valley Vineyards) in the Upstate that's located just of Cherokee Highway (SC HWY 11) near Cleveland, SC. We can meet locally, drive to winery, participate in a wine tasting, enjoy a 'Lunch on the Terrace' , and then enjoy a drive back. Should make for a great time. Watch for a separate thread on this event. Be thinking of a weekend date in August. (Note: If we have 10 or more folks, we'll need to make an appointment with the winery so they can handle us.)

Thought a GTG at a local restaurant, like before, might be easier for us to get going again here in the Upstate. Let's say either the 24th (gotta hurry!) or 31st. Pass along any suggestions.
