Snowing in SE-USA
Snowing in SE-USA
Well, just in case no one has been watching the weather across the country, it is snowing in Upstate South Carolina! Started around midnight and so far, 4 to 6 inches are reported. Another 4-6 inches is expected. Now for this part of the country, that's a snow event!! And this afternoon, it's suppose to turn to sleet followed by freezing rain into Tuesday AM. This evening & tomorrow morning are going to get real ugly.
Took Roberta to work this morning in the Jeep Wrangler. No issues as that vehicle is exactly suited for this kind of weather. Still amazes me to see folks out driving around like it was sunny & the roads clear. I never worry about me/us getting around. But The Other Guy scares the 'you know what' out of me!!
XFire is in the driveway, safe and covered. Probably will stay that way for awhile now.

We have over 18 inches and still snowing here in the NC/Tenn. line. Our crossfires are buryed ,looks like we will not see them till spring. We are snowed in and have been for over a week. They do not plow this far up in the mts.But we don't care the beauty of it here is well worth it.

Six inches so far over here in Spartanburg SC. Both SRTs are tucked in the garage at 55 degrees. Got a 4wd and an all wheel drive that will handle the snow, but like you Dennis it is the other guys that bother me. Many seem to have no concept of stopping distances in the white stuff. Travel safely if you are on the roads today!

Drinking cappucino and staying warm inside. Nothing to do this afternoon but 'roll around in the hay' with Roberta. Now if I only had some hay!!

I'm in N AL, and we've had a good snow fall. And now they say that this week (1/24-26) may get ugly with up over 9". Like we need more. It all depends on the Gulf Stream. And my Crossfire is my only car. I've already had 3 mishaps due to the ice/snow here - just tiny bumps on the back fender. But I want NO More!
