North Alabama Crossfire Club
North Alabama Crossfire Club
Is anyone interested in getting together in early December? Possibly same location as last year - Florence/Muscle Shoals area? It is a good drive with winding roads, and great food.
It would be nice to see all of you and the owner(s) again, too!
Any suggestions??

Re: North Alabama Crossfire Club
I would certainly consider it.
How about the Huntsville / North Alabama bunch showing up at our annual car show Nov 6/7 here in Lineville, Alabama ?
There are usually around 1000 cars here, and so far not one Crossfire. I intend to change that in some small way myself this year, and give the audience an alternative to the countless Corvettes that show up.
From Huntsville, just go to Gadsden, then Anniston/Oxford, then I20 east to Highway 9 south.
Lineville is about 25 miles down 9 from I20.
The car show is at the city park, the first thing you see on your right as you enter town, just before the first traffic light at the highway 48 crossing.
Look for me : the RED Roadster ........

I don't mean to hijack this thread, and I'll shut up after posting this link :
24th Annual Clay County Car Show and Swap Meet Lineville Alabama : Clay County Alabama Chamber of Commerce
Melanie - we can discuss your December run if you show up for the car show, otherwise I'll PM you for info in November.
To all that might be attending : I'll wait in the parking lot at Partner's Barbeque ( just before the Park road ) until 8:30 Saturday & Sunday AM. If we all go in together, we can park together, it's first come, first serve parking .....
There are also quite a few folks show up Saturday, - there are hotel / motel accommodations in Oxford, about 25 miles away ( also Talladega at 27 miles ).

Susan, Dakota, Mercedes and I will be glad to see you !
( Dakota & Mercedes are Anatolian Shepard Guard Dogs, Susan is my lovely wife of 35 years )

if it's OK, I'm bringing Tina, my lovely bride of 32 years and she doubles as a backup to Dozer. You've met him!

EDIT: WAIT A MINUTE - that is the weekend at the end of my two week training period, they won't have me outta town that quickly. I think I'm a definite "in"! (Had a great time at a car show I literally, accidentally ran into Saturday.Met a guy with a White Roadster who didn't know about CF.net.)

Re: North Alabama Crossfire Club
Mine is virtually a daily - at 60,000 miles. Not showroom, but still very eye-catching!
(I need a "baby" for the garage, thinking of an SRT Roadster in the spring...)
So has this thread been completely and successfully hijacked?
I think we have a list:
mdfelker - White Roadster
alaxfire - Red Roadster
maxchicon - Red Roadster
JHM2K (possible) - White Coupe
gfalcone - Black Base Roadster
Pizzguy - Graphite Roadster
32Krazy (???) - Green Car From Germany

Re: North Alabama Crossfire Club
I'll be drag-racing (LOL) at the srtip in Steele Alabama either the first or second weekend in November with Steve...
So, if the Merc boys decide to run the first weekend, I'll be game for the show since we'll be a short drive away. But if it's later in the month, I doubt I'll make the drive to B'Ham twice in one month.
So, tentative based on whatever the racing date dictates.
