I need help and cant find it anywhere!!
I have an 04 crossfire and im having a issue i cant find out whats causing it . All my warning lights come on, my wing pops up and the car will no shift out of whatever gear its in. I checked the codes and it was for a speed output shaft sensor and one for a abs light . I was told it was a transmission valvae assembly sensor by the dealership but i cant find any info . Please i would really appreciate anyone who can lend their time and info on trying to help me .

I noticed when the problem starts (everytime i crank the car now) the emergency brake light comes on, my speedometer quits working, my odometer quits working and my spoiler pops up. The code i pulled was P0720 which says a output shaft speed sensor .I cant figure out what that means .
Re: I need help and cant find it anywhere!!
Thanks for your suggestion. Can i ask you tho what makes you think that its this? Im sorry ive just been through hell trying to figure this out. We thought it was a wheel speed sensor, a transmissions speed sensor, RCM unit etc. Its my daily driver too so im crunched for time and its just been a nightmare trying to figure this out.
Re: I need help and cant find it anywhere!!
PO720, for our cars is a "CAN bus circuit". The assembly ala_xfire is referring you to ,is a serviceable item that is know to cause symptoms such as yours. Are your break lights working? Have you downloaded the free service manual? Section 21will help you follow along with the suggestions that are made. If your on a phone, scroll to the bottom of the page an hit " view full site". Click on ala_xfires signature to download the manual.
