Default Loss of power, engine getting hot

I have a 06 roadster, and today after driving a short distance, I lost all power/acceleration. Let it sit for awhile and it drive fine, then it did the same thing again. Any thoughts?

No, just had no acceleration. Put the pedal to the floor and it would just do about 10 mph. Then started to idel real rough

Failing fuel pump/clogged filter. Running too lean can heat up quickly.
