I have a 2004 having problem with wing goes up never goes down unless i open and shut the trunk. Anyone have same problem?

 

Sounds odd.
I have not heard of any wing problems other than some people have had some squeaks.
I would try to have it looked at before your warranty is up.

Does the light on the wing button on the dash flash after the wing goes up also?

Your problem, plus the flashing light is what my 2004 did 2 weeks after delivery.

4 times into the shop, button replaced, body computer replaced, turned out to be
the spoiler itself. The dealer replaced the spoiler, and it's worked fine since.

 

Yes the light does flash, thanks for the info. I have been back to the dealer 4 times. I'm going to let them know what you said.

 

Well,
I bought my Crossfire used 3 months ago with 7,000 miles on it, and wouldn't you know it does the same thing. goes up o.k. but wont go down unless you get out and open /shut the trunk also light is flashing when this happens!

 

I had one of my club members mention that there was a problem with his coupe's wing. He said that it went up fine but would not go down unless he turned the key off and started the car again, pressed the button and it would work. He also told me that a piece of equipment was installed and this started happening afier that. I told him to bring it back to the installer who insisted that all was fine from his end. Next stop was the dealer. I suppose it's fixed, haven't heard otherwise.
Never had a problem with mine, nor has anyone other than the dude I mentioned.
