I've done my second oil change and am having problems resetting the FSS. It worked fine the first time but this time when I follow the manual instructions, I does not reset. I've tried this about 5 or 6 times.

Any suggestions? Thanks

 

I'm taking mine to the dealership next week! It's (-)11,000 now since the dealership failed to reset it!

 

It took me 7-9 times of trying... The timing must be perfect.

 

Ditto, had the same problem.

 

Its all in the timing...takes me about 8 or 9 times also.

 

Success!! After reading all of the replies about multiple tries, I went out tonight and tried two more times and got it!! Thanks.

 

I was about to cover it with electrical tape.

 

I keep trying to reset the damn thing. As soon as I see the little oil bottle icon, I loose it and it's back to showing -750. Son of A *****!

 

Yeah, it's a pain in the butt... it used to take me a half dozen times before I got it right... Then I just ripped the dashboard out and solved the problem...

 

Hehehe, I like the idea of covering it up with electrical tape.
