Default erratic temperature

Anyone know where the outside (air) temp sender is located on the '05 SRT6, so I can check the ground/connector etc.?

While driving around our display shows a swing of about 15* on a typical outing. Not a heat soak issue from the radiator, I'm talking about after it settles in, then wanders 10-15* colder than ambient, then back to normal.

Bad ground, bad sensor, loose connector, dunno??

Thanks,

DB

its located in the driver side lower grill area.

the lower grill will pull off and you'll have full access.

~ a couple pics to assist:

Totally off the subject, but after seeing what's behind the lower factory grills, I may be only interested in purchasing the upper grill from CTD of Germany.

Hi,
We must be fairly close to each other, have you checked to see if the fan is blowing the right way? I had the same issue...yesterday.

K and K, I think Buck70 was talking about the outside air temp read out, not the engine temp.
