My friends and clients have all noticed the fact that my "new" car is another Crossfire and I get to see and drive many different vehicles at the various dealerships I work for.I guess that's a pretty good endorsement as to my past satisfaction with the Crossfire.
Being in the advertising business, I can't help but think what a terrible job Mercedes & Chrysler did marketing this vehicle. It's a wonderful automobile.
The Trip Is Short...At Least Enjoy The Ride.

I'll admit mine is still a baby at 22k. But I drive it conservatively (rarely accelerate hard, just drive fast). The only issue was the fan recall. I do have a clunking sound when closing the driver's door - I think something is loose in there and will have the dealer look at it next time it is in. The only work I have had done is an oil and filter change just before I park it in the garage for the winter.
As far as gripes, it does not shift smoothly from 1st to 2nd and the cupholder is useless. No way to use it with a 6-speed.

Mine is sitting around 83K and still running strong. I recently moved to Germany (in the military) and surprisingly the maint. is cheaper here. Paid 90$ for an oil change. That is on post and no tax.....in fact I paid $450 for an oil change/transmission flush/ and plugs. I did have to put holes in my front bumper to accommodate the euro license plate.....there was no way around it. Knock on wood!
Wow..... First post, and you dig up a 3 year old thread. LOL Welcome to the forum. I spent 3 years in Germany and loved it. Stuttguart
31k and some change on my 07
no real problems other than leaking valve cover gaskets.
I had a speaker blow for some random reason, now one of the subs is on its way out.
and my muffler hangers like to break, on my 3rd set so far.
rear rotors are warped or something, replacing those with cl500 when budget permits.

2008 Coupe LTD and until I bought new tires - not a single problem. Car has been great, I commute anout 70 miles a day and have almost 39,000 miles on it already (purchased Sept 2008). I am currently have new tire issues (see my thread) but other than that its been all good. I love the car - it is not the most comfortable car I ever owned by any means...but I love the bodywork and the performance has been good without being a gas hog
41K here. I've owned it since 34K, and so far the only problem was a leaky transmission. Was a quick fix done when I had it in for the scheduled maintenance last month.
Everyone complains too much about ride comfort. Either you all are driving down dirt backroads, or you've been spoiled by road-couches. I drive on old bumpy roads ~30 miles daily. Really I don't see whats so damn bad about it. Sure it's not as soft as an SUV or something, but it's not THAT bad.

I have 46000 on my '04, it had 25000 we I purchased it north of Chicago. I don't drive it daily but I do drive it alot. The only problems have been the cupholder, replaced with a bin, and the Relay Control Module was causing a check engine light, a quick resolder job by Tighed1 fixed that. My wife and I take it on long trips and we find it comfortable enough and the gas mileage is great. Other than that it has only seen normal maint. items. It has been from Indiana to Windsor Canada, Mobile Alabama, Fayetteville North Carolina, Tampa Florida and many parts in between. We are plannning to continue to use it for many trips to come.
