Default OBD Connector # ???

Anyone know which ODBII connector is used on the Crossfire (part number)... I've never paid attention to the dyno guys in the past... And I just bought some new software for my PDA that interfaces with the car...

Looks Just like the connector used on an ECU reprogrammer on a '97 Merc Cougar I had. Too bad we can't reprogram various ECU parameters like the FoMoCo guys can with a Hypertech/Diablo handheld tuner unit...

What capabilities does the software have? Is it just a reader or can you erase error codes and reset the FSS?

Cool little toy.

Doesn't Generalelectronics offer a PC card for interfacing with the Botch Motronics CAN system?
I think it runs about $7,000 but at least you can tinker with the maps and the rest of the cars computer system. Sounds like fun!

Edit that first part, it's not GE it's National Electronics that has the CAN interface equipment. sorry brainfart! Here you go..http://search.ni.com/nisearch/nisear...ter=true&q=CAN they might also have some free software for the hardware.
