Default Whistle sound from under the glove box...Please help

All,

I have an 04' coupe that I recently purchased. I have had this strange high pitch whistle noise from right under the passenger side glove box. This only occurs when I turn on the AC and immediately after I turn it off. Does anyone know what assembly is under the glove box? Or what might be causing this? It appears there might be a filter of sorts that is not sealed that might be causing the high pitch sound.

Please help.
Maxx

Under the glove box there is the cabin air filter.
Check that out - do a search on replacing cabin air filter.

It's your lucky day...

Check out the cabin air filter for starters. That's the easiest (and cheapest) replacement. It could be the blower motor as well.

It's probably the vacuum for the heating/AC module under the dash, I cannot find the article in which I added the links to previous posts on this.

Where is this located under the dash? I did change the air filter in the cabin as some recommended but the noise persists. Is this easily reached?
Thank you

If you look at the photo I posted you can see a carpet, you already have the other clue - it is coming from the glove box area. Put the two clues together and ............... elementary Watson.
