Default underdrive pulleys?

Does anyone else besides evosport make underdrive pulleys for the N/A crossfire? Perhaps cheaper?

i gave them consideration but the hp gain is questionable ... some reported 10 hp while others have reported issues with their electrical system ... this was from mbworld forums mainly.

i'd put that money to the supercharger fund within the next few years when a less expensive nice system becomes available.

I have it done. The gain is not as noticeable as some people on the MB forums claim, although my butt dyno tells me that it is indeed there (whether I should call it HP gain or HP restored, I'm not sure). As for issues with the electrical system, I had none, but my alternator did give out after about 10,000 miles of driving with the pulleys... my odometer only read around 30,000 km (20,000 miles or so). Coincidence? Not sure, but I haven't had any issues once I got new alternators for my car.

hmmm...that is weird that the alternator went with only 20k on the motor dunno could be coincidence. You also have the speedinovations ecu I see how is that working for you? I am thinking about getting one but not sure...did you notice a big difference as in worth $600?

Sharptech,

The Speed Innovation ECU tune is the mod that made the single most
difference in my car. I had to receive the lower octane program (91)
due to gasoline quality concerns here in Korea, but it still made a world of
difference. Case in point, I have never, NEVER lost a drag race (400m) against any stock Crossfire (non-SRT) in our regular Crossfire Club meets (Usually beating them by at least a half second. I highly recommend the mod, even at the steep price.

It is unfortunate that I will have to reprogram my ECU soon, to accommodate the Kleemann
supercharger! ^^
