Default Best Loved Enhancements

I'm new to Crossfires and to this forum. Yet, in the brief time I've been reading your posts, I've learned a lot.

I've discovered that Crossfire owners are passionate about their cars. This causes me to ask: What changes, modifications have you made for (a) appearance reasons, to personalize your car, or (b) for performance improvement that you are especially pleased with? Maybe just one or two changes that you feel really make your car special.

Thanks...

See what I have done to my 2004 and that is what I have found to work well and make a noticeable difference in performance... Real stuff - no smoke and mirrors!

Wow...THANK YOU! From these lists I can think of several things I'd like to examine closely and likely try. Thank you.

I did the $5 speaker mod, added a wind restrictor from windrestrictor.com and, using a little bottle of Aero Blue touch up paint and a very fine artists brush, I painted the shift pattern lines and numbers on the shift ****. Very subtle, looks beautiful.

Otherwise, this is the only car I've owned in a very long time that I just don't want to change anything on. I love it the way it is.

Oh, wait...I did kinda do the tire chew mod at Buttonwillow Raceway last weekend!!!

I think you should put the Eibach Pro Kit at the top of your list. The best! Then HID's (6,000K) are a MUST have.

Well as you can see, I think the car should remain totally "stock" in appearance.

I still do a double take everytime I see the AMX hood on your car.

Man, that is too cool. If Chrysler would do a "mas macho" styling upgrade like your hood and start making Crossfires with the 250+ Hp 3.5 DOHC M-Benz motor (like the entire rest of the M-Benz line-up) They could sell Crossfires without heavy discounts, keep 'em in production for a few more years and Karmann could avoid some of the massive layoffs they are facing with the loss of Audi A4 cabriolet production. This seems so obvious !
This seems like a no-brainer ! Audi continues to update/upgrade the TT.
If Cerberus serious wants to compete in this segment they could easily do so !

Slim, Wow, thanks for the "props", I'm glad you like my hood.
I don't know if it would help perpetuate the "Breed" for another couple of years or not. But I do think it would have been cool to have seen something like it on the SRT's. Like the old "Z" cars from the past, there really isn't that many visual aids to differentiate the "supercharged" cars from the NA variety. Oh sure, every Crossfire owner knows the difference, but the average "motor head" really doesn't have a clue. (But I would suspect most 350Z owners no em at a glance by now.

side note: I've been approached a couple times at gas stations, by people asking me if my car was a new SRT. One guy even asked if it was the "new" SRT with the "BIGGER" blower. (I must have missed that press release).

My top 3...

Rotex Gold brake pads. - Huge difference in cleaning intervals.
Andrew's revised emblems - Subtle, but oh so nice.
Stainless steel mesh lower grills - Looked cheap on my kitchen table, look great on the car.

I think My laser cut replacement emblems are my best MOD. Custom colors silver, red, blue, white, even yellow.
