Billet Aluminum Crank Pulley, gauging interest...

Hello all,
We are currently working with a company to start distributing a Billet Aluminum Crank Pulley/Harmonic balancer. This will be stock size, but about 60% lighter. You will not need a new belt and this will work with all aftermarket pulleys. The price will be 549.00 per pulley, and a possible group buy may be opened up.
Is there an interest for this product?
Benefits include: reduced drivetrain stress, more RWHP (expect 6-12%), bling, and when paired with Underdrive Pulleys this will make for a very noticeable mod.

I'm assuming the crank pulley will be made with the na Crossfire in mind? If so, you can definitely count me in ~ I just lost a drag race to a 2008 Audi TT 3.2 DSG even with the mods listed below... and MAN am I pissed... I am so there if you make them.
I'm interested - especially if you're considering making an underdrive pulley kit too.
I agree with SRT6_Roadster somewhat though - may be a little more free revving high up...

Not saying it is a worthless mod just don't expect a measurable HP gain. Any gains you do see will HP wise will be within the margin of error on the Dyno.

Why don't you just chrome the stock balancer pulley if you want bling.
I'm all for TVT succeeding but you need to start doing your own engineering work and not copy what's already out there.
If you can get the Catalytic delete pipe from a Mercedes dealer and sell those on your site I would buy them, the only problem is my Mercedes dealer won't order them for me. This would make a great product for you guys because there is nothing to manufactuer... just get the export pipes and sell it!
Let me know if your interessted and I'll get you the part numbers.

These are not just pulleys that replace the harmonic balancer. These are Redesigned harmonic blancers made to be lighter. There are numerous companies that make lighter harmonic balancers for Chevys, Fords, and every other type of engine. It's proven to work, and our car will show the same results.
Our cars have enough "momentum" to get them moving. I don't feel that a lightened crank pulley will make this undriveable, actually I know it won't. The harmonic blancers on these are known to wear and tear much sooner than most cars. I will post dyno sheets when they came in.
As for the cat delete pipes, I would imagine taking it to a local exhaust shop would not only be cheaper, but probably much easier.

Who would be doing the install of he off-road pipe then? Not too familiar with CA laws.

I lost to an '08 Audi TT 3.2 DSG on the quarter mile (400m), straight and simple.
