High flow filter

What is the best high flow filter?
Chrysler Crossfire 2004 V6 3.2

M113 motor airbox with oem paper filters, it fits out m112 motor fine, also I removed the wire mesh screen inside the box.

Everybody is assuming you mean air filter.
If it's oil filters, K&N does one - I've never used it.

Does the removing of the wire mesh help or deter in any way?
