Great write up I figured this would be the perfect thread to throw this out for everyone and add to 240s write up. Thanks again 240 http://www.slk32.com/pages/boostgauge1/boostgauge1.html

Very nice setup! - I really like the AEM gauge. Do you know if they offer an IAT gauge with a similar type of sending unit.

The Boost gauge I used had a remote mounted sending unit. You ran a vacuum hose to the sending unit and then the harness to the gauge head. Not quite as clean as the AEM setup.

I ended up splicing into the dash lamps so the gauge would dim with the rest of the interior lighting.

Not sure about egt but they do have a/f gauge w/ wideband setup reasonably price iirc. I was going to do one for each exhaust manifold but was like damn this is getting pricey.

Im currently working on the final mounting of the gauge next to/on the a-pillar....edit: ok i used the carbon fiber pod!!!

Did i mention the red/green aem gauge matches our factory red/green instrument panel perfectly.

Had to bring this thread back. My question is, can't we use a vacuum line somewhere which is much easier to do? This looks like way to much work just to have a simple boost gauge installed. I currently own an Autometer 2-5/8th Ultra light which I want to get hooked up soon so I know the boost is close to where it should be.

Most cars you can simply add a T to a vaccum line and go that route. I will look at the car tonight to see if it is possible on this one, it may not be.
