Default 0W30 vs 0W40

Understand that Pentosan 0W30 is the oil of choice for the MB 3.2 V6. The Walmart in my neigborhood carries only Mobil 0W30 and was wondering if this would be an acceptable subsitute for my Xfire/

As long as the temps in your area aren't in the over 100 range I can't see why 0-30 wouldn't work for you. Just remember it wont lubricate as much in the higher temp ranges.
