Default Trouble: FSS Reset

I'm following the instructions to reset the FSS counter but nothing happens.
Anyone know of a common mistake I might be making?

Resetting the FSS can be a complete pain & I swear, NO ONE gets it the first time. Patience & redundancy will get you there!

Keep trying.
Every time you fail, chug a beer.
Not only will you have fun, but eventually you'll get it.
Get somebody else to try, and don't feel an idiot when they do it the first time (that's what happened to me!).
