Default Tire Pressure Monitior System

The TPM icon is lit on my dash and I have had all four tires checked and all have the correct amount of pressure. The tires are not worn and the temperature has been between 52-76 degrees. Should I worry?? Any advice??

You'll be fine as long as the cold tire pressure is correct... I just had my dealer reset my TPM sensors because I put different wheels on and now the light is out. You'll Need the DBR III scan tool to do it and a some other tool... I watched them do it it's pretty cool and took about 5mins.

Yes, the tires have been checked cold and I have not changed the tires since I bought the car last year (and I have only put about 2k miles on the car). I had someone look at the treads and they are in fine shape. I am planning on a long trip from DC to FLA tomorrow but I am concerned since the light is on.

Ah good old 95... boring! You'll be fine... just have it reset when you get to FL.
All it does is monitor tire pressure... nothing else!

That's a relief! Thanks!! Yes, 95 is the most boring ride -- I usually just put the car on the auto train but it has gone up in price over 200% since August (and it is sticky pricing--won't come down even though fuel costs have decreased). Thanks again--
