Current Odometer Lower Then Last

Anyone want to explain that to me? I hope it dosen't mean what I think it means. I know the car was previously in lease. I now have 30,222 miles on the clock...Is it possible I should add an additional 15,177 to actually have the real millage?
I had an issue with my odometer after disconnecting the battery it would roll back, the dealer replaced the odometer and was able to order from the factory an odometer with the correct miles. The car stores the miles in the computer.
It is a problem with early 04 models.
The dealer told me the he can not adjusted the miles but can be adjusted from the factory.
The best bet is see if by removing the battery cable it does roll back the odometer if it does replace the odometer.

Ouch, I'm not under warrentee anymore. I do not think the dealer actually changed out the odometer, I don't know if the works been done because service history only goes back 24 months. Last time the car saw the dealer was over that.
Yes I did. There were only like 5 entries on there though, car bought car registered x3, then car sold at auction, car received. No millage check ins or anything like that.

No problem.
In the "Dealer Entered Odometer" entry (3rd line down on the right) who ever pulled this report for you just entered a random mileage to get your report. Apparently this is a required entry to pull the report.
When I had mine pulled the girl actually asked me my mileage and I told her, "Mmmm around 31000" and that's the number she used. No verification, no let me check, nothing.
So the Warning Message is just pointing out the fact that the "Dealer Entered Odometer" does not jive with the previously reported mileage located under Last Odometer as 15,177 miles.

Ahh, I see, excellent, thanks for the heads up. It was a local forum member who did it for me when I was purchasing a car and I didn't tell him the number. Thanks for the explanation.

That report from the Chrysler computer requires a mileage number to be input. They seldom worry about having it exactly correct. It should be correct because it does compare mileage to warranty requirements and other information, but it can be corrected and I'm not even sure that it is stored.
