Dependable???
My wife loves our Crossfire but is concerned it will leave her stranded. The ignition switch was the first problem, leaving us stranded. Now the car has quit twice, once in a parking lot and once on the freeway, so now she doesn't want to drive it. The last time it quit was at freeway speed and the engine just flat shut off. Pulled it over to the side and it started right back up.
Are these cars dependable??? With the car maket the way it is we don't think selling is an option right now and we do love the car. I know there have been posts about electrical problems and we have had a few of these. What about the transmission? Engine? Differential?
Our car has the automatic trans and is at 77,500 miles. We did buy an extended warranty that will run out the end of this year.
I would appreciate any comments (constructive) about our car.

Sounds like either the crank sensor or the fuel relay. Both an easy fix. Have the dealer check them out. After all, any car with 77,000 miles is bound to have some items wear out. This problem has been discussed before with cars with much less mileage than yours.
