Default TVT Designs Airpump and EGR block off ?

Has anyone tried these inexpensive mods? Can someone with mechanical knowledge explain if they might be of any benefit.

Might want to size down your text, kind of intimidating
As far as I know they're:

A) Track use only
B) and allow you to remove the air pump and parts of the EGR system, to save on weight.

Anything else, anyone?

Track use only
Will throw CEL
Gets rid of the nasty exhaust being plumbed back in the intake. Which lowers IAT and decreases gunky build up.
Cleans up engine bay.

I was thinking about making one when I saw under the hood for the first time. I was like WTF air pump?!

Any adverse affects besides a CEL? Does the computer do anything differently/tune?
