I saw these pictures and thought maybe you just really always wanted to keep nice clean water at hand for those moments when you got thirsty!

Actually, LET has done several NA-to-FI conversion tunes.

Show me a 3.2L that they used the factory ECU WITHOUT a piggyback, FMU or RRFPR and I'll eat my underwear and post the video on you-tube! That's what I'm getting across. This isn't about doing it but how it's being done. Tune or no tune, the stock computer CAN NOT read MAP and therefore cannot read boost. Something else has to be part of the equation to make it all work. Don't get me wrong, the guys at LET are great and know their stuff but they aren't just doing a tune and bolting up turbo's or SC's. If they were, we wouldn't have a thousand threads titled "can I add a supercharger/turbo to my car", we would have a thousand threads titled "dude, I just added a supercharger/turbo to my car and holy jeebus"

Think what you want. I have seen it with my own eyes. Nobody has said anything about simply throwing a tune at it, but you seem to have it figured out.

By no means am I saying LET hasn't put a turbo or a SC on an NA car but doing a tune on the ECU wasn't missing link. Maybe the tune they did was flatten out the fuel table and let a piggyback handle all the fuel related duties. I couldn't tell as I haven't seen project. You have but did you by chance overlook something they had running in unison with the stock ECU? I apologize if I came of as sounding brash in previous posts, I didn't intend it to be like that at any point. I've messed around with them, chucknorris has messed around with them, tvt has messed around with them and none of us were ever able to make the ECU do things it wasn't capable of doing. TVT for sure would have been able to do the same as Jerry and all the guys at LET as they do his tunes.

You're not even in MN anymore buddy! When you getting back to town? You'll have to take pictures of something else that's more worth-while when you get back here. Bet you're not missing the 30 days of below freezing weather back here though.

This DC weather is making me soft, I'll be in hardy MN by October.

Northern VA is pretty nice, not at all what I expected. I thought it would be like South Jersey, but it's really more like Eastern Tennessee (which is a good thing.)

I'm thinking about flying back in early March and again during the summer for a week or more (I need a vacation badly). If you guys schedule a meet (or if somebody boosts their XF without ECU mods, piggyback, or FMU) I will try to schedule my vacation to fall over the same week.
