Default Track Control Light Problem

Hey folks! I'm new to this forum and I would like to start off by saying that I LOVE MY CAR! (the crossfire obviously...)

So, I've got a little problem and I was wondering if anyone here is an expert and has an idea of what is going on; here we go:

- Last December I hit something and the front tires (??? actually I think it wasn't the tires but the piece thathas to do with the tires... idk what you call it) got disaligned and therefore the track control light went on, full brightness.

- I brought my baby to the closest Chrysler dealership, I got everything realigned and everything was fine for some time.

- Not too long ago the track control light on the panel has been on again, but here's the weird thing: it's not on at full brightness, but like only half brightness. So in other words the light is on but not really (I deactivated the track control system with the button and there is a big difference in brightness compared to when I turn the system on).

- I talked to my fidelity tire place (not the dealership) and they told me it might be some problem with the light. Otherwise I was told it might be that there's a problem related with how the weight on the car is distributed, maybe caused by the tires, maybe by something else. I will call the dealership tomorrow.

Does anyone have any idea what may be the problem?

Thanks guys

Default Re: Track Control Light Problem

Some type of electrical problem....could be in the dash, the light, or the wiring to it.

The TC system is basically a go/no go system when it comes to the light.....it will either flash when it senses a loss of traction, come on when the system is shut off or has a problem, or stay off when there's no problem at all. There's no provision for the light to come on "partially" other than a electrical gremlin.
