Default Intake Manifold work

To finish off the available bolt ons for this car and get us closer to the 300 HP mark we've turned our attention to the intake manifold.

Basically we are cleaning up the runners, porting, rough polishing, and matching up the air path for improved flow. This is a very time consuming process, about 40-50 hours from start to finish, and none of the internal parts are replaceable. So if this is something you are going to try I would advise picking up a spare manifold, which we have for sale if you can't find one local.

The pics are of a stock manifold and the progress of the top of the ported one.

Default Re: Intake Manifold work

I thought this would've had just a tad bit of interest...

Anyway, here's a link to some more V8 manifolds we have been doing: http://www.mbworld.org/forums/c32-am...nterested.html

We are offering the N/A M113 guys two kits, a stage one and stage two.

Stage one is a full clean and sand blast and proting and reshaping of the intake ports on the manifold. Cost for the M112 (your engine) is 485.00.

Stage 2 adds to stage one by porting and reshaping the top runners. This is a two piece design and all three sides are ported, reshaped, and polished. The runners are shortened by about 1.5" to help with better top end power and no loss in the bottom end. The Stage 2 job takes about 20 hours and cost is 975.00.

We will offer a core exchange to allow for zero down time as well.

PM or email me if interested.
