Default Erratic airflow from heater

My 05' Roadster has 33k. The heater fan blows air at irraditic speeds at any selection on the ****. When it does so, you can hear a squeel. Anyone know what this is?

After a little research it looks like a few others have had this problem and problems with the blower motors not working at all. It sounds like it's the blower motor resistor. Any other suggestions?

Sound more like debris in the blower cage - if it was not working at all there would not be a squeal.
Easy to check - remove the lower cover from the passenger footwell (a few screws) and the blower is exposed. Slide the clips and the motor releases and can then be cleaned.
While there check the cabin filter (same slidable clips release the filter)

I also had this problem. I took my car to the dealer, they replaced the motor for the heater with no questions asked. It only took a few hours once they got the parts in.

Just bought my car last Tuesday. I hope they replace it for free.

The dealer is being a pain about fixing anything. In the state of Minnesota by law they have to supply a 60 day 2500 miles warranty but I don't know if it covers this. I have already found 3 issues with my Crossfire. 1. The seat won't go down. 2. The heater blows air in bursts. 3. The transmission shifts tough.

How hard is it to replace the blower motor myself?

Very easy.
As above - a couple of screws , a few clips and an electrical plug.
