Tire Sensor Question/Help

Default Tire Sensor Question/Help

so my tire pressure light comes on at the recommended psi... but if i raise it to 39 or 40 psi it goes away...
shouldnt the tire sensor not light up when at the recommended psi???? anyone with the same problem or any ideas why???? btw i run about 39 psi because the light bugs the crap out of me....

Try a differnt gauge first - many are not correct, calibrated, or are just cheap. They can easily be off by 5 lbs or more.

How old is the car?

My 2005 had the same issue and it turns out the sensors have batteries!!!

Mine lasted 3 years....then one triggered a low battery on the test...changed all 4
