I've had these installed for around 9 months now and they've been fine. But now they turn on, then cut off after about 3 seconds. Also, sometimes their light is dimmer than I remember. Any ideas?

 

Check all connections. There was also a problem some time back with some of the regulators (or whatever that is enclosed in the box in the wiring harness, that goes behind the passenger seat). Seems like there was a TSB or something on it but I would not swear to that. I don't have access to my TSB list at the moment or I would check for you.

I had the same issue......not paying attention that the wiring and all on the back side not being sealed when I installed it, I inadvertantly got the thing wet when I washed the car one weekend. I lost the " E " at the end.
Now my doorsill reads " CROSSFIR " !!!

This morning I noticed it stay on for a good 15 seconds, but just once, then it was back to 3-and-out. I pulled back the carpet to check the inverter and removed both sills to look for moisture, but everything's dry. The problem seems to be the inverter box itself. I don't suppose anyone out there has one you'd sell???

 

I understand your pain. My door sills just stopped working. I sent an email to Chrysler but they never responded. LMK if you find any leads or the little yellow box.

 

This was to be my next mod... you guys almost have me talked out of it.

O.K. I too have the same problem with the sill lights. They were working fine , now they light up 3 seconds and out.Can anybody give us a answer as to what the problem is and a fix. Thanks .
