Unhappy Steering box on it's way out with just 19,500 miles on the clock

My Crossfire is an 06 auto coupe which I've had for 2 years, it's now got 19,500 miles on the clock. Since the begining of the year it's had strange clicking noises from the front when I've been turning corners slow - turning the car around or manouvering into/out of parking spaces. I've just been told it's the steering box and a new one sounds very expensive.

I'm just wondering if any one else has had the same problems at such low mileage?????

Do a search for this. It may be a loose shaft clamp on the column.

I t is a semi-common problem.
