No listing for pre-mixed.

All your answers are here;
Valvoline.com > Products > Zerex > Antifreeze Zerex > Zerex G-05® Antifreeze / Coolant

You need 1.5 gallons of zerex G-05 and 1.5 gallons of distilled water.
or
3 gallons of Zerex G-05 pre-mixed.

In the absence of distilled water de-mineralized water may be used. Distilled water is recommended. Zerex G-05 is a yellow color.
The following .pdf shows the breakdown of manufacturers and the specific coolant requirement for model years.
http://www.valvoline.com/pdf/Zerex_CoolantChart.pdf
Basically it shows that your 2000 Chrysler needs a different coolant than your 2001 and up Chrysler etc. or you 1998 Mazda.
Coolant colors are green, orange and yellow (all model years of Xfires) DO NOT MIX THEM TOGETHER.

From the Shop Manual;
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM
CAUTION: The cooling system is designed to function with a 50/50 mixture of Mopar
T Antifreeze/Coolant, 5
Year/100,000 Mile Formula (MS-9769) or equivalent, and distilled water. Higher concentrations may result in
poor cooling performance and premature water pump seal failure. This antifreeze/coolant may not be mixed

or substituted with any other type.

Checking the coolant level I opened the overflow tank to check out the height and see the level indicator `Rib' mentioned in another thread. What I think was called to as a `rib' is actually what I would call a `Bead'.
This bead goes around the container inside and is black which matches the top of the tank,below that level the container is white.
I was expecting to see yellow coolant but it is green, green was the color of the previous coolants used in Chrysler's up to the year 2001. What color do these cars have normally? This green color matches the color of `Zerex Original Green'. Some `HOAT' may be green though from my browsing through various sites.

My 2005 has blue. Not sure, but I think it is the original antifreeze.

FYI -- Got three gallons of the full-strength G-05 at NAPA for $10.49 each. They had a couple more gallons on the front shelf, and said they don't sell much of it.

You can get the premixed, but it is considerably more expensive than buying the coolant and distilled water separately. Discount Auto Parts carries both.

Thanks, I figured it was as the car was new when I got it. Yellow, green and orange are the common colors for the various coolant types but dig a little deeper and they say HOAT could be any of those colors and other colors too. It all depends on the dye the manufacturer uses. Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Americas everyone has their own standards or lack thereof.

Wow this make my head hurt......
I miss the old days when all antifreeze was ethylene glycol. It kept it simple!

This seemed to be the best thread to use. I just want to top up my coolant res. It has factory Blue in there and has about an 1-11/4 inch of the rib level showing. I purchased the Mopar MS 9769 that the TSB's say you can use "in lieu of", and of course can't mix it with "green" regular coolant. Sounds a little bit of overkill question, but can I use this coolant to top it up, or does in lieu of mean if I were to "replace" the coolant, in which case I need the Benz Blue for top up? Thanks, 2004 Silver Blue 6spd Coupe. Annnnd......Loving it!

I think that if you live in a warmer climate of the States, and you're only 1 1/4 inches low in your reserve, you might be OK to just add 'distilled water' to bring the level up. Over a few miles driving, it should mix thruout, and not affect the "freeze" level of the coolant because of the warmer climate you might be in. If you have owned the car for a couple of years or longer, and the level has dropped over time, it prolly is best to flush and refill......but adding the dist water shouldn't be a problem for the short term. Maybe some of the "guru's" will chime in here on this.......

If there's one thing I learned in my days of taking short cuts, it's NEVER mix different color coolants. Cost me a hefty repair bill.
