I have about 1k in my system, but it's a dual bottle system that has some more expensive parts to insure a fully concealed installation (even bottles are hidden).

If I can get a kit together with all the good stuff for under 900, would there be interest?
Interested, would the kit come with a W.O.T. switch for safety? I worry that if my ESP kicked in while i was spraying without a WOT it could hurt some stuff.
List what a $900 kit would come with and I'll get some money together.

Would you need a dual nozzle setup if you have a dual intake or would one nozzle spraying into one of the intake tubes do?

No one should spray into the intake tube. The spray goes next to the throttle body right after the 90 degree turn. Go on my site "performance ideas page" for pictures of my single shot wet kit.

Paul, I like your website. It is very informative and your car's color is damn clean.

On the SRT6 I would spray after the SC. The nozzle would be in the Y-pipe.

curious but spraying that far back what would keep the distribution of the nitrous even? would just as much go into the first runner on the intake manifold as the third one on each side, seems like the only way for complete even distribtion would be down each port into the cyclinders... Not a nitrous guy but i would love to tinker around with it but only as safely as possible.

Thanks. I need to take better pictures of my nitrous set up for you guys. Also, my pictures are old since I added another shot. I just don't have that much time to play anymore.

the nitrous nozzle has to be within 6 in of the throttle body. it disperses as a fog so each manifold should get an even amount it should flow the same as normal air would.

Exactly! If you want the most even distribution you can go direct port and have one nozzle for every runner. This will add more complexity and cost, but you will get the best results.

Ok here is one of my dumb questions.
Putting a kit like the one Anthony is trying to put together for us would gain what?
I have N/A with the tvt tune and larger injectors and an intake.
Keeping NOS to a safe limit what guess are we talking in the 1/4?
13.5? ish or is this too optimistic?
Thanks :}

Depends on the shot and when and how often you shoot it. A 35HP shot for every shift should drop your ET by .3 (traction dependent).

I have been checking out the thread, I think you guys might be the right dudes to talk to. I have an 04 na with 38k on it. I want to shove a little power into it now. I am thinking nitrous, as if I dump too much money into it I mine as well go buy something else. What can I throw into a stock motor and not blow her up? if the motor had a few motor mods how much more power could I pour into it? Any help or opinions are greatly appreciated!

A shot of 75 HP from a wet kit on a stock ECU or you will need a custom tune, injectors, better fuel pump etc. ( I have two fuel pumps on my Two stage 125 HP). Unless you are using NOS at 90 degree weather you will need a bottle heater too (to bring it up to 1000psi). I got everything, heater, opener, gauge, WOT, purge, tune, injectors, secondary NOS fuel pump, better spark plugs, modified intake silicone elbow to hold the shark nozzles for $3000 total. My dyno this week gave me 257 HP to the wheel (before any adjustments) on the xfire limited. Good luck!

257 seems low pusperti? im under the impression that shot size is in WHP considering stock whp is around 175 adding a 125 shot would be 300whp ballpark? not to mention you have just about every mod for the n/a motor. fill me in with some details what was your best dyno with the 75shot?

My 04 NA comes with 215 stock right? is that rear wheel or engine? And 257 does sound low with the mods plus nitrous. But ive seen videos of your car and it runs like a fat kid chasing a chocolate cake down the quarter mile. Would I be able to pick your brain a little more when I get ready to make a decision?

I got 257 HP to the wheel, reading right of the Dynojet machine. Remember that is more than the SRT6 has to the rear wheel. But you are right its low. When I had just the one shot of 75 HP I used an aggressive ECU tune (a little lean with the knock sensor on). To add more nitrous I had to back that ECU down quite a ways to keep the knock sensor off. Here is the link to my shot of 75 HP dyno at 238 HP to the wheel. (http://www.paulscrossfire.com/performanceideas.htm ) In conclusion when I added the shot of 50 to the shot of 75 I lost major power on the ECU tuning, to come out at the end of the 2 stage upgrade with a gain of 19 HP to the wheel. But I'm also running a lot saver now, a little rich instead of a little lean which is a good thing with nitrous and no knock sensor. So I don't recommend more than a shot of 75 HP! Unless to like to throw your pay checks down the drain. My last quarter mile was 14 months ago, and I got 13.7 now I got to go try it again and see. It would be great to see a 12.9 but who knows?
