Default Sprint Booster?

After reading threads on the Spint Booster I decided to purchase because of the terrible throttle responce. I insatalled the unit and felt the affects immidiatly but after a couple days I noticed surging while running vehicle on the way to work. As you can imagine I am a little anoid thinking the unit is either installed wrong or defective. I insatalled the unit the only way it could with male to female and vice versa. Has anyone had this issue. Thxs. Scottish

Try a throttle reset.

Thats the best place to start. If you got the part # for the manual, I know they are extremely aggressive and can be touchy.

Do You have a manual tranny? You may have a sprint booster set for Autmatic and they are more sensityive.

I have one and you soon get used to it. Mostly it isn't an issue unless you frequntly do a throttle reset.

Go figure.

Talking Re: Sprint Booster?

I drove my 6 spd crossfire from a cold start this morning and the surging was there again and was not due to a sensative pedal. I would coast at 60 k and rest foot on pedal slightly and it felt like the car was hit by a fierce gale. My ? is why only from a cold start ? I drove an hour later and the surging gone and nothing 3 hours later. Thxs for everyones input.
