What exactly can you do with the stock ecu?
I know with some tuning programs you can do things like disabling the rear o2 sensors, emissions equipment, etc.
I need to disable to air pump command function as well as the EGR command. Is this something the guys in buckhead could do? I would imagine it would be possible through the STAR DAS, since you can pretty much access all of the functions of the various modules but I'm not 100% sure

I'd say send a PM to 'Tony the Tuner' on here and ask him what he can do with the SDS. He is over at Buckhead now and is one of the most knowledgeable people on our ECU.
Will do. Im in buckhead all the time so I might have to swing by. If I can't get these things worked out, my turbo build may be stuck in its tracks since Im going to be building a new intake manifold with no provisions for air injection, EGR, or the butterflies.

Meh. We have OBD checks. I could fudge it without a problem. I just dont want to drive around with a CEL on the whole time because I'll never know when something real happens.
Perhaps with the aem fic, I could cause an afr change when the stock ecu commands the air pumps?
The new intake manifold wont have any provision for the air pump, plus with a forward facing tb I wont have room to mount it. Plus with a boosted application theres really no need for egr, and the egt's are high enough to light of cats (which I wont have) without any added b.s.
oh well, I'll figure something out I guess
