its impossible to shape glass like that, not to mention a sunroof with a big *** hump in the middle wouldnt be retractable.

I have to disagree with you on all of the above. If I weren't so darn lazy, I might take that as a challenge and actually do it(or should I say have the right people do it). If I find a way to do it, will you change your tag line? LOL Just messin' with ya.

Someone with the talent and production capabilities might look into the variety of parts available for the early Mustangs restoration pieces, i.e.; Fender panels, rear quarters, hoods, trunks, and interior stuff.

I’ve watched the production of the carbon fiber hood, while interesting, it’s expensive and I just wonder about the use of sheet metal or fiberglass.

Looking at some of the pictures of wrecks shown at various times in here, which many seem to be dedicated to the front end of the car, I would think someone would consider that area of the car with reproduction pieces.

From what I’m reading the future availability of factory body panels isn’t that bright. I see the same story time and again in here, the insurance totaled the car and I see the picture and scratch my head thinking they’ve got to be kidding. But I suppose the real issue is the limited production of these cars and the lack of mass consumption of reproduction parts.

I agree on the front splitter!!!

I think its an "easy" part to start out with.

You can start with porducing one in any garage and then put it into "mass production". I like that idea, since I like the SRT bumper^^

With probably no more than a dozen orders, we could probably get a quality built fiberglass reproduction of a "stock" Crossfire hood, from a well know Fiberglass hood manufacture.
There's going to come a time in the very near future, "NOS" hoods won't be available.
I'm just sayin.

Not at all. Glass melts to a liquid, you can make it in pretty much any shape you want.

I wish someone would make a urethane or impact plastic front lip for the non-SRT models.

OffshoreMM,

H82BL8 has a detailed thread where he has used a Seat Cupra R front splitter, it looks really good, I may well go down a similar route.

Right on the nose. Just like the front fascia you (and I) would like to see remade, it's that Euro modded look where the car looks just as at home at a black tie event as on the race track

Exactly 2 piece molds aren't exactly cutting edge science, don't you watch how it's made? lol

You can do that on your own. I've seen plenty of custom cars with the front end made into a one piece Vette style flip up clip.
