Default Replacement Steering Dampener Failure

Found a HUGE puddle of what seemed to be hydraulic fluid all over my garage. Couldn't figure out what is was until I looked under the car. The new steering dampener from JC Whitney failed after 3 weeks. Am I the only one this happened to?

I would send it back....I bought one from another place on line, and it isn't very good either, but not leaking...

Get my $35 bucks back your right. Now the OEM one is back on and my steering is sloppy once again. The new one did help somewhat but, I'm thinking I have other issues ie, alignment/wheel balance as far as that's concerned.
