As far as merchants not updating websites, shame on them. No information is better than misinformation.
It reminds me of the old riddle about which is better, a watch that runs one minute slow every hour or one that doesn't run at all. The one that doesn't run at all is correct twice a day. The one that runs a minute slow is only correct once every 720 days (according to yet another website - I didn't check the math - please don't shoot the messenger).

And; since my last post I had the C.E.L. come on in the SRT, so I went ahead and sent my SGII in for update so I can hopefully read the code and report back to the Forum if it really works and what the new 3.17MB version really monitors and what it doesn't. Should be able to share this info. soon if they send it back to me right away. Bob

I just got my ScanGaugeII back from the free upgrade they offered me (3.17MB version).
Plugged in, everything seems to be working. I first read and cleared a code I had (PO505 idle control system). I then went on to check all the gauges that it monitors. In addition to all the fuel and economy functions that it normally does for all vehicles, it is reading/showing MAP, VOLTS, Coolant Temp., IAT, MPH, RPM, TPS, IGN.Timing,Gross Brake Horsepower. There may be other gauges that I may be able to program in with its "Xgauge feature" but need time to experiment with. So anyone with an older ScanGaugeII that wants to monitor their Crossfire, can send it in for a free upgrade. For those that can't afford the Zeitronics setup, I feel this is the next best thing. Bob

MAP (manifold absolute pressure) = BOOST, yes? I don't know how accurate it is but when I was brave enough to glance down at W.O.T. today, the MAP p.s.i. was reading 27+ Is this possible w/ a stock pulley?

ECU throws at code at 18 psi, and our stock intake mani gaskets don't seal well past 10 anyways.

time for school..... I am running the 181 and hit 20 - 21psi with the Aero....I have a couple of mods..

I use the ScanGuage II in the Crossfire. It works just fine and reports all the usual parameters. During the "off season" it is in the Avalanche. I just ordered an extra cable and installed one in each vehicle so that I move the head unit back and forth.
So far, I've just held it in place with velcro. Not a very secure mount for sure. I mount it just above the headlight switch - easy to read.
I'd like to know how/where others have mounted their scanguage II. I'll try to post a photo in a little while.

I can highly recommend the Garmin EcoRoute Bluetooth module and a Garmin 1490T. Works great, reports numerous engine parameters in realtime (airflow, temp, timing advance, engine load, etc. etc.), and it does Mileage computations VERY well.
Go to Garmin page, check out EcoRoute. AMAZON was selling the bluetooth module for $69.00 for a while, but I see it's back to $99.00
